The English National Opera presents a night of exquisite opera tasters on Friday, September 3rd 2010. With segments of some of the best-loved productions ever played out on the Coliseum stage, the Opera Preview 2010 is a wonderful introduction to Opera for a novice or a satisfying reminder of great works for an enthusiast.
With live extracts from ENO’s autumn season, the audience will become acquainted with many of Opera’s greatest characters, including Don Giovanni, Musetta, Méphistopheles and Emilia Marty.
The night is, rather than a one-sided feast for the senses, an interactive, fantastic adventure. Attendees will be able to vote for their favourite character in a balloon debate and sing along with members of the professional chorus.
The English National Opera Preview 2010 is not to be missed – nor indeed is the Coliseum’s Bollinger bar.
