Rachel Levitas is the 2010 winner of the Lynn Painter-Stainers Award for her painting Urban Fox III.

Rachel grew up in Durham. She studied Fine Art at Camberwell School of Art, Advanced Printmaking at Central St Martins and Postgraduate Painting at the Royal Academy Schools where she was awarded the Turner Gold Medal for Painting.

The Lynn Painter-Stainers prize was created in 2005 by the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers and the Lynn Foundation.  The purpose of the prize is to encourage creative representational painting and promote the skill of draughtsmanship.

Suffolk-born Johnny Spillings is a chef whose career has encompassed Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck and Raymond Blanc’s flagship restaurant Le Manoir.  Johnny has recently moved back to his home county to pursue his real passion: bread. His artisan bakery ‘The Penny Bun Bakehouse’ will supply restaurants and food shops across the UK.
